Adding a new repository

This page describes how to add a new sesame repository into Explorator.

You must create and copy a Sesame repository files into the directory EXPLORATOR_ROOT_DIR\db\Sesame\repositories.

Creating the repository

The Sesame repository should be created using the Sesame tools, as described in this document:

 http://www.openrdf.org/doc/sesame2/2.2.3/users/userguide.html#d0e337

Copying the repository

The files to be copied can be found in the directory as described below ( http://www.openrdf.org/doc/sesame2/2.2.4/users/ch05.html):

All OpenRDF applications (Sesame Server, Workbench, and Console) store configuration files and repository data in a single directory (with subdirectories). On Windows machines, this directory is %APPDATA%\Aduna\ by default, where %APPDATA% is the application data directory of the user that runs the application. For example, in case the application runs under the 'LocalService?' user account on Windows XP, the directory is C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService?\Application Data\Aduna\. On Linux/UNIX, the default location is $HOME/.aduna/, for example /home/tomcat/.aduna/. We will refer to this data directory as [ADUNA_DATA] in the rest of this manual.

You must copy the specific repository directory to the Explorator/db/Sesame/repositories. For example, if you create a repository called foaf on sesame, you must copy the diretory created by Sesame, into Explorator/db/Sesame/repositories diretory.

When starting up, Explorator loads all repositories present in this directory.
